Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to oversee the general operations of the warehouse and its staff.

Accountabilities:

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods

Assist in acquiring new staff members by interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees and overseeing department training.

Effectively manage warehouse staff by coaching, counseling and communicating job expectations.

Assign daily operational workloads to employees efficiently and effectively for optimal outcomes

Measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee’s performance to the warehouse leadership team Coordinate with the warehouse lead to ensure inventory & storage areas are organized and maintained.

Proactively recommend innovative process improvements

Document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status

Coordinate & communicate activities with other departments

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques

Proficient in WMS and Microsoft Office software

Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations

Strong organizational and time management skillsBS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration; or equivalent related work experience with a proven track record
