Role OverviewAre you passionate about safety and fluent in English and Spanish? San Francisco Bay Coffee is hiring a Safety Supervisor to lead workplace safety programs and ensure compliance at our Lincoln, CA facility. The Safety Supervisor will work within the Safety group to support key operational and technical initiatives, overseeing safety/health programs and processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities- Performs workplace safety & environmental inspections and audits
- Facilitates and oversees near miss and injury investigations to determine root cause(s) and offers recommendations for corrective actions
- Creates and sustains a cohesive and positive work environment while ensuring compliance with established safety programs
- Serves as a point person for departmental inquiries and responds or escalates appropriately
- Operates within established budget and supports implementation of safety improvement initiatives
- Leads the site Safety Committee and subsequent follow‑up actions
- Demonstrates and understands safety as our core value, reinforcing and coaching others to follow
- Ensures implementation and continuous improvement of all safety related programs and policies including, but not limited to:
Hazardous Energy Control, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Chemical Management, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, PIT Safety, Respirator, and Emergency Action Plan - Ensures implementation and continuous improvement of all environmental related programs and policies including, but not limited to:
Hazardous Chemical Disposal, Chemical Storage and Spills, and Stormwater Management - Cross‑functional work with all departments and all levels of staff to ensure the health and safety program and policies are understood and upheld as a priority and value
- Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all company policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong commitment to Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to support product integrity, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Safety, Health, or related field
- 2‑3 years of safety experience in an industrial setting
- 1‑2 years of Training Development and Delivery
- 2‑3 years of Supervisor experience
- Spanish speaking
- Provides technical and regulatory leadership
- Problem‑solving skills
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor; high energy level; values people while holding them accountable; treats people fairly and with respect; able to enroll others to achieve a vision, inspire others to follow
- Ability to influence peers – focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; remains open to ideas; demonstrates flexibility
- Must be flexible to support the hours of the manufacturing environment, including nights and weekends as required
- Time split between plant (production floor) and office environments, walking, hot and cold environments, loud environments
- Experience and knowledge with California and federal OSHA regulations, OSHA recordkeeping requirements, and environmental regulations
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word
$70,000 - $80,000 Annually
