Class A Driver​/Equipment Operator

Job Brief

As the Class A Driver / Equipment Operator, you will operate all types of Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver explosive products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

This position starts at $29 per hour.

Safety Bonus Program:

• Drive and operate straight bed trucks over public roads to move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites in a timely and safe manner.
• Drive and operate bulk/blend trucks to prepare and deliver quality ANFO products to customer sites.
• Operate and perform maintenance on trucks.
• Deliver and off-load products within company H&S Management System procedures and practices.
• Calibrate equipment, calculate fuel percentages, and check emulsion density.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving, operating equipment, and on blast sites to protect personal safety and the safety of others.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products, including safety, and the use and detonation of explosives, to assure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and performance history.
• Comply with applicable DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and BATFE regulations.

• Monday – Friday:
  Shifts typically begin between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM, with an expected duration of 10 to 12 hours.

• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat Certification required.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check required for possession of explosives.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Willingness to work early mornings and 10‑12 hour shifts.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
