Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role develops and maintains manufacturing processes and work instructions, supports production in resolving technical issues, and drives process optimization initiatives. Working cross-functionally with quality, design, tooling, and production teams, the Manufacturing Engineer enhances workflow, throughput, and overall operational performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

• Learn, implement, and comply with all safety, ergonomics, and change management requirements in support of site safety goals.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and complete necessary training and certification.
• Generate and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions in accordance with established standards.
• Create and update ERP system routings for products as needed.
• Identify requirements for standard or specialized gauging, tooling, and production equipment.
• Provide timely technical support to resolve manufacturing issues on the production floor.
• Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with cross-functional teams in accordance with established procedures.
• Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE).
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, minimize variation, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support 5S initiatives and visual management efforts within manufacturing areas.
• Assist in work cell design, integration, and validation as needed.
• Collaborate with quality, design engineering, tooling, and production teams to improve safety, workflow, throughput, and product quality.
• Participate in team meetings, work cell meetings, and customer calls as required.
• Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment involving hand assembly, mechanical fasteners, and testing.
• Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Must meet eligibility requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), including classification as a U.S. person as defined by applicable regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting production and process improvement activities.
