Med Surg Tele RN (Night Shift) — Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule:

Nights | 3x12s | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM

Pay: $54/hr

Hire for a Med Surg Tele RN / MS Tele RN to support adult acute care patients on a Med/Surg + Telemetry unit.

• Provide direct patient care: assessments, vitals, ongoing monitoring, and timely escalation of condition changes.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and rhythm observation per unit standards; communicate abnormalities to the care team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to execute patient care plans and discharge readiness.
• Document care, assessments, and interventions in Cerner (EHR/charting) with strong accuracy and timeliness.
• Float as needed based on staffing/census.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required.

• Active Illinois RN license (required).
• Recent Med Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse experience (required).
• Comfortable managing multiple patients, prioritizing care, and working independently on nights.
• Telemetry competency and familiarity with cardiac monitoring workflows.
• Strong documentation skills;
  Cerner experience preferred.
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only per facility guidelines).
