Job Description:
Seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN for a 13-week contract at a critical access facility in Lincoln, Illinois. This role involves 12-hour night shifts (6:30 pm – 7:00 am) on a 3×12 schedule. You will be responsible for interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, overseeing telemetry monitoring, administering IV therapies including insulin titration, and providing specialized care for patients with renal failure, CVA, and post‑total joint replacement.
The unit is a 30‑bed setting with an average daily census of 19, requiring a nurse with at least 3 years of relevant experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to float within scope as needed. This facility values hands‑on skills in cardiac monitoring, feeding tube management, and airway management with external CPAP/BIPAP equipment. The position demands a proactive nurse comfortable working every other weekend and maintaining flexibility for potential schedule adjustments.
Active IL license is required prior to start, and candidates should be prepared for a fast‑paced environment where quick thinking is essential. This assignment offers the chance to work in a close‑knit, well‑equipped hospital environment without long‑term commitments.
