Kennel Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team in Lincoln, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of animals in our kennel, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all pets.

• Feed, water, and monitor animals according to established schedules and guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas regularly.
• Provide exercise and socialization for animals as needed.
• Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to management or veterinary staff.
• Assist with intake and release of animals, including documentation and customer interaction.
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and kennel activities.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy environment.

• Previous experience as a Kennel Attendant or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of animal care and handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle animals and equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
