Accounting Intern

Are you currently a college student working toward an accounting degree? Would you like to gain practical experience in a corporate Accounting setting? Do you describe yourself as highly detailed and process oriented? Would you enjoy work that allows you to assist others with accounting processes, systems and questions?

If you answered "yes" to these questions, we want to meet you! Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is now accepting applications for an Accounting Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for validating coding and entering invoices, processing vendor payments, and other accounting duties as needed. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Accounting Department, primarily with the Accounts Payable Team.

• 12-18 hours per week
• Process invoices and review accuracy of invoice coding to ensure quality, consistent and complete information is posted to the accounting system with adherence to company policies
• Work with RLC Community Managers to solve invoice and vendor issues
• Review vendor statements for financial statement completeness
• Process vendor payments
• Complete and reconcile credit card transactions
• Work in teams to process bi-monthly check requests and monthly food cost reconciliations
• Opportunities to be exposed to additional accounting work

Pay Range: $16 - $17 per hour
