The Accounting Specialist role focuses on billing, Accounts Receivable management, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting reports.

Progress billing:
Prepare, review, and submit accurate customer invoices tied directly to project agreements. Partner closely with Project Managers and clients to manage billings and resolve any discrepancies. Drive accounts receivable performance by managing daily deposits and aging backlogs. Assist with coding and allocating monthly operational expenses. Assist with preparation of monthly budget and forward-looking reports. Own your daily workflow to meet monthly close deadlines with minimal oversight.

Experience:

2 years + recent related experience OR degree in Business/Accounting. An analytical mind that catches errors before they impact the bottom line. Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality as needed. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables) and exposure to construction a plus. Ability to successfully pass a standard pre-employment (post offer) background check.
