Description of Work

Create, coordinate and review department contract administration, processing a variety of contracts including hotel, game, expense, consultant, third party, facility rental and camp agreements. Ensure completed contracts are uploaded to the state database per university policy. Conduct financial analyses and reconciliations for the areas including, but not limited to, LLC financial operations, athletic teams and internal/external constituents. Manage relationship with University Procurement.

Reconciliation and settlement procedures for all special events housed within Athletics. Produce invoices for outside entities involving facility rentals. Process invoice payments, payment card receipts, and group travel reconciliations for assigned sports/units.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field plus two (2) years of financial analyses, accounting, reconciliation, or internal/external audit experience required.
  • Prior experience with large integrated financial accounting systems is necessary.
  • Work history will demonstrate expert proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Excellent oral communication, listening, and analytical skills is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with contract administration
  • Knowledge of University and State of Nebraska IS systems and/or SAP.
  • General working knowledge of institutional and NCAA rules

$65,000/yr minimum
