• Take ownership of financial accounting, reporting, consolidations, budgeting, cash forecasting, and many of the company's more technical accounting transactions and reporting activities. You'll have exposure to lease accounting, fair value, purchase accounting, impairment, and other complexities that will keep you on GAAP’s cutting edge. This company is involved in numerous very unique and frankly “fascinating” transactions that you will find yourself right in the middle of.
• Lead a small but experienced and already trained team while operating primarily in a reviewer capacity for more transactional items while taking personal ownership of the more technical elements of the reporting process.
• Actively engage in discourse with the CFO, division President, and essentially all members within the Corporate Accounting & Finance team on accounting treatment discussions, financial analysis, forecasting and planning. Some of this work will be just as complex as some of your more sophisticated clients in public accounting.
