Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal seeks a Scheduling Assistant to be part of an energetic, collaborative, and innovative team. This position will report to the Director of Scheduling. Candidates must have excellent organization and time-management skills.
Responsibilities- Supports the Director of Scheduling in managing and maintaining the scheduling database for the Borough President, as well as other Senior Staff as needed.
- Performs administrative and scheduling tasks as directed by the Director of Scheduling, including office management responsibilities.
- Monitors general Scheduling email inbox.
- Opens and sorts mail sent to Borough President and distributes to appropriate staff.
- Provides reception coverage, as needed.

Minimum QualificationsQualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments independently
- Extremely organized and have the ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner
- Scheduling experience a plus

Residency RequirementNew York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
