Campus Assistant – PT
Under the general direction and supervision of the Senior Director, Campus Operations, the Campus Assistant supports the campus photo identification system and assists with the coordination of on‑campus events. The position serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing accurate information and assistance while representing the College in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Operate Campus Photo m. Administer the system, verify student registration status, capture photographs, and produce student and employee .
- Information Desk Operations
. Provide daily coverage of the campus information desk, greet visitors, answer the multi‑line phone system, respond to inquiries, and direct individuals to appropriate offices. - Campus Event Coordination Support
. Assist with the coordination and execution of on‑campus events, support event requests, maintain the events calendar, and coordinate space and resource allocation. - Promote a Culture of Belonging
. Support an environment of belonging, foster community, and support policies related to access, fair employment, and equal opportunities. - Additional Campus Activities
. Support campus activities and events, including student orientations, employee in‑service programs, and external events. - Perform other duties assigned by the College.
- Work varied days, hours, shifts, locations, and campuses as required, including possible overtime or special activities.
- Required: High school graduate or GED.
- Desired: Proficiency with office applications and aptitude for learning new software systems; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong time‑management and multitasking abilities; ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in operating a computer, Microsoft Office, and performing general clerical duties.
- Willingness and ability to learn additional computer software systems.
- Effective communication with a diverse population.
- Strong customer service skills and proper workplace etiquette.
- Teamwork and adherence to College policies.
- Dependable with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary: $15.94 per hour.
Benefits:
Part‑time regular employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA retirement plan (Roth, SRA, or 457(B) account) with no match from the College. Employees may enroll in supplemental benefits and a group vision plan through employee‑paid premiums. Normal hours are scheduled Monday through Friday for a 29‑hour work week.
