Description Of WorkThe Administrative Associate is the chief assistant to the department chair in the Department of Educational Psychology in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:
- Coordinate all department support activities
- Act as liaison between the department and Graduate Studies
- Supervise department staff
- Represent staff interests in departmental discussions and initiatives
- Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes for department meetings

MinimumRequired Qualifications
Associates degree plus three (3) years’ experience in a relevant administrative role; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Must be proficient with word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation computer software. Detail oriented and accurate with strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently
Preferred QualificationsIdeal candidates will have experience in higher education setting and/or supervisory experience. Experience with large integrated financial management system and/or database software programs.
Posted Salary $24.04/hr minimum
