Office Associate
As the Office Associate, you will provide administrative assistance to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, and serve as a liaison between the Administrative Coordinator, Department Office, the College, University administrative units, students, and the public.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the chairperson in the planning, organizing, administering, and monitoring of the administration of the Department and the Barkley Memorial Center Preparing and submitting various reports as required by the Department, College, and University. Maintaining data and files related to departmental activities and processes. Managing class scheduling for the Department, coordinating with faculty, advisors, and other University offices. Making travel arrangements.
Scheduling meetings and organizing their agendas and documentation.

Minimum
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus four (4) years of experience providing administrative support or similar work; OR Associate degree in business, communications, English or related field plus two (2) years of experience providing administrative support or similar work. Equivalent experience/education considered. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs. Detail-oriented and accurate with strong organizational and communication skills required.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently within established procedures required.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education setting.

- No Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.

- Yes Posted Salary - $19.330/hr minimum
