Grants Coordinator

Looking for a role where your financial skills directly support your community? Join the Lancaster County Human Services Department in this dynamic position that blends accounting, strategy, and grant leadership.

This professional-level role leads County-wide grant coordination and resource development efforts. You’ll write and manage grants, track funding, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and support departments in securing and managing critical funding. This position plays a key role in maximizing financial resources that keep County programs and services running strong.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead grant writing, coordination, reporting, and compliance efforts
  • Track grant revenues and expenditures, including indirect and matching funds
  • Prepare financial and narrative reports and assist with audits
  • Work with departments, granting agencies, lobbyists, and community partners
  • Support development of grant-related policies and accounting procedures
  • Assist County leadership with fiscal reports and program funding analysis
What You Bring
  • Knowledge of grant management and governmental accounting
  • Understanding of OMB compliance and funding requirements
  • Strong analytical and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage detailed financial data
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications /Necessary

Special Requirements

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public or business administration or accounting plus two years of experience in grant management and accounting or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills.
