Overview
Frontier Airlines is looking for a qualified Aviation Maintenance Auditor to support the CAMP, GMM, and SMS compliance programs. This role involves auditing aircraft and contractor activities, reporting findings, and applying safety risk mitigation.
Responsibilities- Conduct behavior audits of the CAMP non‑stop Airworthiness preservation program.
- Prepare and problem audit reports regarding risks identified during audits.
- Perform inspections and audits of contractor activities supporting CAMP requirements at line stations.
- Perform special audits as directed by the manager or quality assurance.
- Maintain familiarization with GMM 100: maintenance education program and ensure training is current.
- Supervise audits of gasoline storage and delivery providers in compliance with company manuals and standards.
- Manage, monitor and coordinate SMS activities, including development, implementation, and integration.
- Identify risks and conduct safety hazard assessments, including exchange management.
- Ensure effectiveness of safety hazard controls and promote safety culture.
- Advise the controlling government on SMS performance and development needs.
- Maintain safety performance metrics and adjust threat level as needed.
- Preferred: FAA A & P certification, or minimum 2 years of aviation preservation or maintenance support experience.
- Required knowledge of FAA regulations (CFR 21, 25, 43, 65, 121, 145), Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer AIM/SB/SL files.
- Understanding of FAA Flight Requirements Information System (8900.1) and DCT checklists.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Strong analytical, business, prioritization, presentation, and record‑keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relational database tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and non‑conventional shifts.
- Valid passport and driver’s license required for travel.
