Description of Work
Coordinate social functions at the Lied Center or any other venue as assigned, such as meetings, luncheons/dinners, receptions, weddings, tailgates and mainstage rental events. Coordinate all areas of event presentation with artist, agents and rental venue clients; serve as primary point of contact and coordinate all event requirements, information and changes with other Lied Center departments to fulfill all contractual obligations for all parties with artist or user.
Coordinate event schedules, rental equipment, provide artist transportation and acquire hospitality supplies from vendors. Monitor event budget and submit costs for event close-out. Assist in organization of outreach/education programs including all logistical arrangements. Coordinate event promotions and media events with Marketing department. Make sure all Lied Center and University policies and procedures are followed as part of each event.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus two years’ experience that includes events coordination/management, customer service hospitality, supervision and cash handling experience. Equivalent education/experience will be considered. Ability to negotiate; work with flexible schedule and changing priorities essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary. Must have excellent computer skills, including: spreadsheet, word processing, email, scheduling software and events management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience in events coordination and management in a performing arts venue or area.
