Stepping Stones Child Academy is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Kitchen Assistant to help keep our daycare running smoothly (and deliciously!).

Monday–Friday
7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Perfect for students, parents with school-aged children, or anyone looking for consistent daytime hours!

As our Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be an important part of our daily routine. You will:

• Help prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to children
• Support the Lead Cook in following all food service regulations
• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean and organized
• Help with light center-wide cleaning tasks (laundry, trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting)
• Interact positively with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and positive cafeteria atmosphere

You’re not just serving meals — you’re helping fuel growing minds and bodies!

We’re searching for someone who:

• Is at least 16 years old
• Has strong communication skills
• Enjoys working around children
• Has (or is willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Permit
• Has (or is willing to obtain)
  CPR Certification
• Can pass a background check
• Shows up on time and ready to help

• Daytime hours — no nights or weekends
