Ground Up Construction Recruiting is partnered with a local general contractor based in Kearney to help them hire an Estimator for their office they just opened in Lincoln.

With 20 years in business, this GC has built a solid foundation and reputation in Central Nebraska, and is now expanding to Lincoln and surrounding markets. With strong revenue in 2025 and a healthy backlog for 2026, they’re expanding their team to support continued growth. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role and help grow an office from the ground up.

Project size typically ranges from $2M-$25M and sectors include education, healthcare, senior living, industrial, religious, hotels, and retail. Main estimating software used is Excel and Construct Connect.

• $100k-$130K salary + bonus
• Insurance stipend
• 401(k) + 3% match

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and competitive bid proposals
• Review drawings/specs, and solicit and analyze subcontractor pricing
• Support buyout and ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to operations
• Manage projects from award through closeout, including schedule, budget, documentation, and cost control
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers
