Overview
Constructors, Inc., a subsidiary of NEBCO, Inc. ("Company"), needs 10 temporary Construction Site Laborers from 04/01/2026 – 11/30/2026 for work at various worksites in Nebraska. Work is full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at least 45 hrs/week. Pay is at least $25.22/hr with applicable benefits; overtime pay of at least $37.83/hr may be available based on weather, business needs, and hours worked.
The Company uses a single workweek for wage calculation and pays weekly. Housing assistance for temporary season housing is available at approximately $138.56 per person per pay period if requested. A $100.00 advance is provided and deducted from future paychecks. The Company will reimburse certain travel, housing, and visa-related costs as described below.
- Assist crews with the general construction of concrete surfaces on roads, highways, and parking lots.
- Perform tasks such as concrete puddling, finishing, and placing wet burlap on finished concrete.
- Assist with concrete forms and/or asphalt paving in construction and maintenance activities, including quality control to ensure finished work aligns with company quality standards.
- Operate hand-held job-related equipment (e.g., concrete rakes, concrete floats, shovels) as needed; will not operate heavy construction equipment.
- Observe and practice safety standards and policies; adhere to the Company Safety Program and workplace safety acts and environmental requirements.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures while performing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- No certifications or licensures required.
- Must observe and adhere to safety standards and company policies.
- Ability to perform manual labor and work in construction environments.
- Hourly wage of at least $25.22; overtime, if available, at least $37.83/hr for hours over 40 per week.
- Benefits may apply; employer provides tools, supplies, and equipment at no charge.
- Housing assistance available at approximately $138.56 per person per pay period (if requested).
- Transportation, lodging, and subsistence reimbursement and related visa costs eligible for reimbursement; daily subsistence rates vary by travel and location.
- Advance of $100.00 provided and deducted from future paychecks.
- Company guarantees work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment.

Polk, Cuming, Merrick, Jefferson, Pawnee, Saunders, Dodge, Douglas, Burt, Seward, Richardson, Nance, Colfax, Saline, Madison, Thurston, Butler, Howard, Hamilton, Otoe, Johnson, Washington, Platte, Nemaha, Cass, Lancaster, Clay, Fillmore, York, Gage, Adams, Stanton, Hall, Thayer, and Sarpy. The schedule is full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at multiple worksites.
