Role Description s
  • Prepare and set up concrete forms for pouring.
  • Basic knowledge of flatwork, footings, and walls
  • Mix, pour, and place concrete using hand tools and equipment.
  • Finish surfaces of poured concrete to specified textures using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
  • Install reinforcing materials as needed to enhance the strength of the concrete.
  • Ensure proper curing of concrete surfaces to prevent cracking or damage.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Skidsteer, backfill, excavator and dump trailer operation experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to work in extreme climates in both Summer/Winter weather year-round
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience in concrete construction, including foundations, walls, slabs, and other structural elements.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Skilled in managing and coordinating concrete crews, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control.
  • Knowledge of concrete materials, mix designs, and placement techniques.
  • Ability to operate and maintain concrete equipment, such as mixers, pumps, and vibrators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Proven track record of safety leadership, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Candidates must have reliable means of transportation to and from work daily for consistent timeliness and attendance
