Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks for customers across North America since 1979. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendents to join our team for large‑scale long‑haul fiber installation projects. The successful candidates will oversee day‑to‑day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, anticipate client needs, provide solutions, and mentor colleagues.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs and oversee incident investigations.
  • Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules.
  • Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
  • Maintain working knowledge of reporting and tracking financial aspects of the project.
  • Participate in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
  • Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Sub‑Superintendents.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
  • Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
  • Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline (asset).
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub‑contractors.
  • Problem‑solving abilities and capacity to anticipate and address issues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
Working Conditions
  • Must meet physical requirements involving sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and all weather conditions.
  • Site‑based position with travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states.
