Project Manager

NEBCO is looking for a high performing, results-oriented Project Manager to join our team. This position manages internal projects for operations and responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and delivering construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects across the organization. This role manages projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Leads the planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of internal construction, expansion, and renovation projects.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to support the organization's operational and strategic objectives;
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, timelines, and available resources.
- Develops project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Coordinates with internal departments to understand project requirements and minimize operational disruptions.
- Manages the selection, procurement, and oversight of architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
- Reviews construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitors project progress, quality, costs, and schedule performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manages project budgets, approve invoices, track expenditures, and prepare financial forecasts; maintains accurate project records, reports, and related documentation.
- Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Conducts regular site visits to ensure work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project specifications.
- Ensures compliance with applicable building codes, OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
- Facilitates project meetings and provides regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; and
- 10 years of Project Management experience in construction, engineering or facilities; or
- an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver's License
Other
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, building systems, project scheduling, and cost control.
- Effective management of project risks and contractor performance.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and vendor relationships.
- Experience managing occupied facility renovations with minimal business disruption.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, permitting processes, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural and structural drawings, instructions, and manuals.
- Ability to travel between project sites as needed.
