Vice President of Construction

Location: Lincoln, NE

A rapidly growing real estate development and construction company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead operations across multiple commercial and multifamily projects throughout the Midwest. This is an executive leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and has a proven track record of building teams, improving operations, and scaling construction organizations.

• Lead construction operations across multiple active projects and regional markets.
• Develop and improve construction systems, processes, and operational strategies to support continued growth.
• Oversee project management, field operations, budgeting, scheduling, and overall project execution.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams while driving accountability and operational excellence.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships while expanding trade partner networks in new markets.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and operational improvements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Executive leadership experience within commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Proven success leading construction teams through growth and organizational expansion.
• Experience developing scalable systems, processes, and operational structure.
• Strong background managing multiple projects and geographically dispersed teams.
• Multifamily construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
