Job Description

7-Day Furniture (a local furniture retailer) is looking for courteous, professional, and highly motivated customer service representatives for our 2240 Fletcher Ave location. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

General

Summary:

This position provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone to customers at the cashier desk.

Essential Job Functions

Provide courteous and professional customer service to customers in person and over the phone.

Enter merchandise items from sales tickets accurately, efficiently, and timely.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding purchasing and delivery processes.

Fully understand and explain financial options to customers clearly and concisely.

Maintain a clean and pleasant work area at the customer service counter and on the department sale floor.

Support and uphold all company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the furniture industry (a plus, but not required).

Knowledge of retail sales and operations.

Basic computer skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Bilingual a plus!)

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and business math/cash counting skills.

Flexible schedule.

Open availability to work scheduled hours (hours usually are four 12‑hour days, and 3 days off).

Education and Experience

High school education or equivalent. One year experience in customer service with a retail corporation.

Employment Type

Starting Pay: $15‑$16 per hour. Pay raise after 90 days.

Job Type: Full‑time.
