Customer Service Representative
Department: Customer Service
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: NHQ
Reporting To: Susan Swisher
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
DescriptionLocation: Lee’s Summit, MO
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM OR Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time
What You'll DoAs a Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls
- Respond to customer questions, inquiries, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Verify customer information and maintain accurate customer records
- Document customer interactions, comments, concerns, and follow-up needs
- Route customer requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate department or team member
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and employees - Maintain and update customer information and databases
- Assist with project approvals and related paperwork
- Process customer payments, including ACH, credit card, and deposits
- Use T-Mobile Dialpad and other internal systems to manage customer communication
We're looking for a customer-focused professional who is comfortable communicating by phone and able to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 1+ year of phone-based customer service experience
- 1+ year of experience working in a professional office environment
- Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience maintaining customer records and documenting interactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Customer-focused and professional
- Friendly, upbeat, and personable
- Comfortable speaking with a variety of customers by phone
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Willing to learn new systems and processes
- Responsive and dependable
- A clear and confident communicator
- Healthcare eligibility beginning the first of the month following 60 days of employment
- 401(k) eligibility beginning the first quarter after one year of employment
