Salary:
Salary based upon experience, plus an additional $3.00 per hour facility differential for hours worked.

• Conduct periodic exams of inmates' teeth, gingiva, and oral mucous for infections and diseases, and prepare charts.
• Diagnose diseases and lesions, take X-rays, and prepare study models as necessary.
• Provide restorative dentistry.
• Conduct oral surgery through the administration of anesthesia and extraction of teeth by incision, excision, and extirpation.
• Administer drugs orally, topically, by injection and/or prescription.

• Degree in Dentistry, and licensed to practice Dentistry in Nebraska.
• Must submit to background security check.
• Applicants accepting a job offer must pass a pre-employment medical exam and a drug test.
• Upon acceptance, must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Training Program at the Staff Training Academy.
