Project Manager, Architect ​/ Sr. Architect

We're looking for an architect or designer, with project management experience to join our production teams. You don't need a background in historic preservation to apply, but curiosity and care for old buildings will take you far here. If you already have preservation experience, that's a plus. Experience in the design of K-12 schools is also a plus.

What you'll do

You'll lead the production side of our projects: organizing and directing the team producing construction documents, reviewing and marking up drawings, keeping sets coordinated and moving toward deadlines, and making the calls needed to keep a project on track. You'll work closely with our senior and preservation architects on everything from masonry restoration to new additions on historic structures.

What you need

• An accredited degree in Architecture
• Enough project experience to lead a project team: organizing staff, reviewing and editing construction documents, and managing the flow of a project set
• Recently licensed as an architect, or actively on the path to licensure (AXP hours in progress / exams underway)
• A genuine interest in historic preservation and older buildings. Prior preservation experience welcome but not required
• Prior experience in the design of K-12 schools is also welcome but not required
• Willing to work in downtown Lincoln in a small-firm, collaborative environment
