Maternal - Fetal Medicine Physician

Seeking a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to join its AIUM-Certified Center for Maternal & Fetal Care, based primarily in Lincoln, NE.

• Established Practice:
  Join two experienced MFMs considering a shift to a consult-only model.
• Team Collaboration:
  Work alongside an APRN-NP who handles many diabetic patients and rounds on hospitalized patients.
• Patient Load:
  Average census of 4-5 patients.

• Primary Location:
  Women s and Children s unit at East Campus, with occasional consults at West Campus for Trauma and Psychiatry services.
• Clinic and Hospital Layout:
  • Clinic on the 7th floor at Bryan Medical Center-East Campus.
  • 23-bed Level III NICU on the 3rd floor.
  • Labor & Delivery on the 4th floor with 2 ORs and 15 L&D suites.
  • Ante and post-partum rooms on the 5th and 6th floors.

• Collaborative Care:
  Work with 28 Obstetricians and 18 Family Medicine physicians performing deliveries.
• Laborist Program:
  Covers deliveries between 5pm-7am on weekdays and 24-hour shifts on weekends.
• Schedule: MFMs work four days per week, rotating days off for coverage. Clinic hours are 8:15 am to 4:00 pm (2:00 pm on Fridays), with a lunch break from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.
• Support Staff:
  Includes three RNs and four highly trained sonographers using four GE ultrasound machines.
• Call Rotation:
  Shared equally among MFMs at 1:3 nights and weekends.

• Financial Package:
  • $525,000 base salary plus RVU production bonus .
  • $50K quality bonus.
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus (three-year forgiveness).
