Coach, Assistant Volleyball Coach; Reserve

Standing Bear High School is looking for a certified teacher and/or coach who would be responsible for the instruction of volleyball skills and techniques, team systems and strategies; responsible for providing a safe and competitive environment; developing safe and properly planned and supervised practices and contests; provides leadership; is energetic, a good communicator and able to build positive and purposeful relationships with student‑athletes and their families.

This position is primarily in charge of the reserve program, but is an assistant to the overall program as well.

Requires Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.

Responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement, and enforce national, state, and local athletic policies.

This position is subject to a veterans preference.
