Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill adjunct teaching positions for the upcoming Fall 2026 academic term (Aug. 24th - Dec. 18th, 2026). Applicants will be considered with expertise in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology. The following courses are available:
* BIO-1090 (Intro Human A&P I Lecture) Tuesdays - 9 - 9:50 am and 10 - 10:50 am
* BIO-1090L (Intro Human A&P I Lab) Thursdays - 9
-11:50 am and 1- 3:50 pm
Qualifications:
* A master's or doctoral degree in a Biological Sciences discipline and the ability to teach Anatomy and Physiology laboratory following the course outline developed by the faculty at NWU.
* Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus
* Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills are required
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students is essential
* Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement activities
* Appreciation for a liberal arts tradition is desirable
