The Teacher understands central concepts, methods of inquiry, and disciplinary structures and creates learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students.

Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure all actions align with Board policies and strategic plan objectives.
- Participate in job training and professional growth opportunities.
- Performs related duties as assigned to support workplace efficiency.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
- Engage students in inquiry‑based instruction.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources.
- Use a wide range of instructional strategies and technologies.
- Incorporate equitable resources and practices.
- Update and maintain records in accordance with legal and district requirements.
- Create and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Apply effective behavior management techniques suitable for all students, including those with disabilities.
