Job DescriptionTHIS POSITION IS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR
ANTICIPATED START DATE IS AUGUST 7, 2026 (183 DAYS CALENDAR)
Sheridan Elementary is seeking a caring, dependable paraprofessional to support students in both general and special education settings. This role involves working with students on academic, behavioral, and life skills, both one-on-one and in small groups.
This role is part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality instruction and support for students in a variety of learning settings. The ideal candidate shows genuine care for students, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
Responsibilities- Assisting with supervision and daily routines
- Supporting classroom instruction and student learning
- Implementing academic and behavioral supports
General Instruction Para (15 minutes) - $18.00/hour
Special Education Para III (4.75 hours) - $20.50/hour
This position is subject to veterans preference.
