Associate Dean, Faculty and Academic Programs (Open to Architecture Faculty Only)
The Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Programs takes a leadership role in creating an environment where academic/curricular pursuits are supported, innovated and celebrated, facilitating shared governance and open discourse, and cultivating mutual trust and respect among faculty, staff, and students to prepare future leaders that will elevate our professional disciplines. The position is essential in realizing the goals of our strategic planning efforts and elevating our contributions to the university's foundational pillars and strategic priorities and evolving Bold Path Forward strategic framework.
This role is integral to advancing our mission to create a resilient, healthy, and beautiful world, within a diverse and inclusive culture of rigorous inquiry and innovation, unified by the transformative power of planning and design.

Required Qualifications
- Rank of Professor within the UNL College of Architecture. Experience in academic leadership, with a demonstrated commitment to shared governance, consensus building, and promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment for faculty, staff, and students.
