Job Overview
Para, Special Education PIII, 183 days for the 2026‑2027 school year (7 hrs/day). This position is for the 2026‑2027 school year, starting August 7, 2026. The work schedule runs 7:45 am to 3:15 pm (including 30 min lunch).
LocationPound Middle School, Lincoln, Nebraska.
ResponsibilitiesProvide paraprofessional support to students in Special Education. Students’ needs may include life skills, behavioral and communication challenges, bath rooming, and personal hygiene. Build strong relationships with students, demonstrate effective communication skills, and provide quality feedback to all learners. Work collaboratively with multiple team members and make decisions aligned with the school mission:

- Desire to work with students in Special Education.
- Ability to create strong relationships with students and practice effective communication.
- Flexible, positive, dependable, collaborative, restorative.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple team members and make decisions in line with school mission.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Salary: $21.30 per hour (2026‑2027). Full‑time position. Subject to veterans’ preference.
