Adjunct Instructor, Continuing Education Division:
Workforce Solutions (2026‑2027) – PTT

Workforce Solutions seeks qualified part‑time instructors to teach non‑credit courses in Health Care, Trades & Industrial Technology, Computers & Technology, Leadership & Professional Development, and Business Development. Instruction may be delivered in classroom, online, hybrid, or lab settings.

• Provide instruction in assigned subject areas per course objectives.
• Employ diverse instructional strategies (lectures, small groups, demonstrations, computer‑assisted instruction) tailored to student needs.
• Maintain accurate student records on attendance, achievement, and progress.
• Assist in gathering pre‑ and post‑test data when required.
• Promote a culture of belonging, supporting an inclusive, respectful learning environment in line with the College’s policies on access, fair employment, and equal opportunity.

• Assist with related duties in other divisions or programs as required.
• Perform other College functions as assigned.
• Be able to work varied days, hours, shifts, locations, and campuses as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or special events.

• Write class descriptions and outlines, identify student outcomes and course purpose, and articulate benefits and ROI.
• Communicate effectively in writing, orally, and over the phone.
• Use basic computer skills.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Demonstrate competency in essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Teaching experience and passion/expertise in the instructional topic.
• Relevant certifications or work experience.
