THIS POSITION IS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.
ANTICIPATED START DATE IS AUGUST 7, 2026 (183 DAYS CALENDAR)
Sheridan Elementary is seeking a caring, dependable paraprofessional to support students in general education setting, small group intervention instruction, and special education settings. This role involves working with students on academic, behavioral, and life skills, both one-on-one and in small groups.
This role is part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality instruction and support for students in a variety of learning settings. The ideal candidate shows genuine care for students, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with supervision and daily routines
- Supporting classroom instruction and student learning
- Implementing academic and behavioral supports
Work schedule is 8:30 a.m.
-3:15 p.m.
Salaries are:
General Instruction Para (1 hour) - $18.70/hour
Intervention Para (1 hour) - $19.74/hour
Special Education PIII Para (4.25 hours) - $21.30/hour
This position is subject to a veterans prerference.
