Description of Work | Provide student-athletes with life skills guidance, program assistance and total person development for Nebraska Athletics. Meet with prospective student-athletes and families on regular basis. Coordinate, monitor and document various outreach events and student-athlete appearances in compliance with NCAA and conference rules. Plan, organize, and direct multiple major life skills events and seminars. Serve as advisor to leadership groups.

Meet with individual student-athletes for career development. Coordination of various seminars, workshops and special functions. Evening hours and weekends required.

Minimum Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in an educational or related setting. Major event planning experience Proven attention to detail plus excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. Technology skills a must.

Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree experience in collegiate student-athlete development Working knowledge and proven compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. |

Posted Salary | $58,000/yr. minimum
