Description of WorkThe Office of Research and Innovation (R&I) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln ( UNL ) is committed to promoting a culture and environment for success in research, scholarship, creative endeavors, and economic development. The funding opportunity coordinator will contribute to Nebraska’s land-grant mission in significant and essential ways by:
1) curating and disseminating funding opportunities that align with institutional eligibility and expertise;
2) providing targeted funding opportunity searches for individual scholars and projects;
3) managing and innovating limited submission; and
4) conducting research and outreach around funding opportunities to enhance faculty competitiveness and advance institutional priorities.

Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree and five years of proposal and/or research development or project management experience working in higher education in a high-volume, high-production, and/or sponsored research-intensive environment.
- Experience preparing and delivering training programs and shared resources and tools helpful.
