Outreach Specialist
Are you passionate about making sure first-generation and income-eligible scholars know that a program built for them exists? Join our team as our Outreach Specialist and be the reason they find us. As the Outreach Specialist, you will:
Serve as the spokesperson for Educational Talent Search (ETS) in the community.
Build strong relationships with middle school and high school Counselors, teachers, and staff that will assist with identifying eligible students.
Meet with prospective students and families, answer questions and assist with the application process.
Conduct parent and community outreach, including information sessions and presentations.
Maintain accurate recordkeeping of recruitment efforts and progress toward enrollment objectives.
Regular travel across all five service areas is required, with intensified recruitment cycles in September–October and March–April.

Minimum
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; minimum of one (1) year of experience working with youth in an educational, social-services, or community-based setting, with demonstrated experience in outreach, recruitment, or program promotion. A valid driver's license and ability to travel across the project's service areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related discipline; bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English); previous TRIO or pre-college access program experience.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. Criminal History Background Check Required

Posted Salary - $45,000/yr. minimum.
