As a result of our continued success and growth in the UK, we’re looking for full‑time Senior Draftsman – Tekla 3D RC to join our team working on Nuclear New Build projects, specifically focusing on Nuclear Island buildings of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C and similar projects. You will enjoy reinforcing your technical skills when working on the most complex buildings of a Nuclear Power Plant, cultivating strong working relationships in a multi‑cultural environment to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

About the RoleThe Senior Draftsman – Tekla 3D RC Modeller is responsible for delivering high‑quality 3D reinforced concrete models and detailing using Tekla Structures for the most complex buildings of the EPR Nuclear Island on Sizewell
C.
The role is primarily production‑focused, with strong technical autonomy on RC modelling, working zakho? close coordination with the Chief Draftsman and the BIM Coordinator within a BIM‑managed and regulated nuclear environment.
Scope of Works – Nuclear Island BuildingsThe role will primarily support modelling activities for Nuclear Island structures
, including:
- Reactor Buildings and Common Raft
- Fuel Buildings
- Safeguard Buildings
- Airplane Crash‑resistant Buildings
These structures involve very thick RC sections, high reinforcement densities, complex embedments, and stringent constructability constraints
.
- Develop and maintain 3D reinforced concrete models using Tekla Structures
. - Model complex RC elements, including:
- Common rafts, basemats, thick walls and slabs
- Highly congested reinforcement layouts
- Openings, penetrations, embedments, and construction joints
- Produce RC detailing deliverables:
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Reinforcement drawings
- Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
- Accurately implement engineering sketches, mark‑ups, and design comments into the Tekla model.
- Work within a BIM‑managed environment in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Coordinate closely with:
- Chief Draftsman / Lead RC Detailer for technical direction and prioritisation
- BIM Coordinator for model federation, clash management, and exchanges
- Ensure Tekla models comply with:
- Model structure and naming conventions
- Required Level of Detail (LOD) and Level of Information (LOI)
- Support the resolution of clashes and interface issues identified during coordination reviews.
- Deliver modelling outputs in compliance with:
- Project procedures and nuclear quality requirements
- Applicableમા design codes (Eurocodes, RCC‑CW where applicable)
- Apply a strong nuclear safety culture in all modelling activities.
- Manage model revisions in line with document and model control processes.
- Support responses to design reviews and construction queries related to RC detailing.
- Proven experience in 3D reinforced concrete modelling using Tekla Structures
. - Strong understanding of RC detailing rules and constructability

. - Experience on large infrastructure or complex building projects
. - High level of accuracy, rigour, and quality awareness.
- Ability to work efficiently within a structured multidisciplinary team

- Experience on nuclear or regulated projects
. - Exposure to EPR / HPC / SZC‑type structures
. - Familiarity with BIM workflows and CDEs (e.g. Project Wise).
- Experience dealing with dense reinforcement and safety‑critical RC structures
