The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced structural modeller in our Perth office.

This is a great role for a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career, interested in joining a market leading consulting firm and a supportive team. The successful candidate will be provided with training and opportunities to work on new projects.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparing structural models and detail design drawings for buildings and other structures.
• Working closely with clients, consultants, and the internal team, to develop models and documentation for structural engineering projects.
• Ensuring high quality design documentation and model accuracy.
• Understanding interdisciplinary aspects of structural design.
• Proficiency in Revit Structure is essential.
• Carrying out site inspections during project construction phase and inspecting structural engineering assets, maintenance and repair work.

We are seeking applications from experienced modellers who are a highly motivated, team orientated professionals who have excellent communication skills.

As an intermediate modeller you would require the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• Local experience will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in using Revit Structure. AutoCAD skills are advantageous.
• A sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations.
• Working knowledge of BIM concepts and an understanding of creating working models.
• Understand Australian Standards and Codes.
• Strong mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
• Professional qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or similar equivalent industry experience.
• Being able to work collaboratively within the design team, and with external consultants.
