Our highway engineering team delivers a diverse range of MTO design projects, encompassing highway expansion, interchange design, roadway rehabilitation, and bridge rehabilitation/replacements. • Acting as a project manager / highway design lead on multidiscipline detail design highway and bridge projects for MTO.
• Providing mentorship, support, and oversight to other engineers and technical staff working on your projects.
• Supporting and leading a project team to complete designs ranging from freeways, urban and rural multi‑lane and two‑lane facilities, interchanges, and intersections.
• Ensuring that corporate and client QA/QC practices are completed on all projects.
• Coordinating with clients, approval agencies, utility companies, contractors, etc.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, consultants and other business leaders.
• Preparing proposals, project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitoring overall work progress and technical performance on projects to ensure timelines and targets are being met.

• A university degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• 10‑15 years of progressive related experience working on highway design projects and project management.
• Experienced with project management and has worked in or has an understanding of the consulting engineering environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Highway/Transportation Engineering, including policies, regulations, guidelines and operational procedures.
