The Business Area Conti Tech develops, produces and markets products, systems and intelligent components made from rubber, plastic, metal and textiles. These products are used in mining, the agricultural industry, railway engineering mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.
Job DescriptionThis assignment provides a diverse experience in the functions and needs of a rubber manufacturing group. The selected individual will be involved in the support of the Mechanical and Process Engineering Team.
JOB DUTIES- Update and create CAD models for manufacturing machinery and tooling
- Support machine design and modification projects
- Maintain and organize engineering drawings and documentation
- Work on data gathering to help assist in process improvement projects
- Edit and compile plant-wide communications
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE /
SKILLS:
- Minimum GPA 3.0; 15 credit hours completed
- Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies
- Minimum 1.0 years of CAD experience through school or employment (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
DESIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE /
SKILLS:
- 2+ years remaining until completion of a Bachelor's degree
- Fundamental mechanical design experience
- Mechanical Engineering major is preferred but will consider any Engineering degree
- Flexible work schedule to work around school schedule
- Ability to flex up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
