Position Summary

The Landscape Designer is responsible for site planning, preparing landscape design concepts, irrigation plans, construction documents, and specifications for a variety of project types. This role works collaboratively alongside our civil engineering team on site plans and contributes directly to projects that shape communities across the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop site plans, landscape design concepts, and visual presentations
  • Prepare construction documents (site layout, etc.), planting plans, and specifications
  • Design and develop irrigation plans and systems
  • Perform site analysis, research zoning and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare renderings, exhibits, and client presentation materials
  • Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, and other design professionals
  • Support permitting and submittal processes
  • Participate in site visits and construction observation activities
  • Assist with cost estimates and material selections
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 2 years of professional experience is preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Land FX
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Having ownership of the work you do
  • Using your talents to positively affect communities
