Job DescriptionAs a Geotechnical Driller you will be responsible for providing assistance to and working with drilling staff, senior technicians, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers.
- Perform drilling assignments under moderate direction and supervision.
- Prepare daily reports and keep accurate records of drilling activities.
- Receive instruction on project objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
- Set up and monitor the safety and efficiency of drilling operations, including experience on large drilling projects with multiple contractors on‑site.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements and understand soil classifications and characteristics.
This position will require a significant amount of travel and working year‑round in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

You bring to the team:
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- High school diploma.
- Capability of lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in geotechnical drilling or the construction industry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain railroad and safety certifications.
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and obtain a commercial driving license (CDL).
- Experience with the following drilling disciplines:
- Hollow stem augers (3 1/4-ab 4 1/4-ab 6 1/4-ab).
- Well installation (2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch).
- American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) sampling methods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety.
