Transportation/Roadway Civil Design Engineering Technician - Experienced - Micro Station (Lincoln, NE)

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician with Micro Station expertise to support the design and layout of transportation projects in Nebraska. The role involves drafting, design, plan preparation, and specification support, as well as contributing to transportation studies and project forecasts.

• Work with transportation project managers and project engineers to support drafting, design, plan preparation, and specifications.
• Contribute to transportation studies, design, construction, start-up, and project forecasts.
• Perform CADD functions and facilitate CADD or design functions for all the above using Micro Station.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.
• Five years’ experience in civil engineering technical drafting.
• Demonstrated experience with Micro Station.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Certificate and/or Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying, or related field.
• Nine or more years’ experience in civil engineering technical drafting.
• Experience in Open Roads software.
