Mechanical Engineer - Lincoln, NE
As an Automation Technician, you will assist in the design and engineering of machinery, components, and complex assemblies. You will create digital drawings and models from written and verbal specifications, perform and notate accurate measurements, and maintain organization of technical documents in our digital directory. Your role will involve working with our team to produce assembly instructions and operation manuals, as well as assisting in developing processes for new and rebuilt machinery.
Responsibilities- Assist in the design and engineering of machinery, components, and complex assemblies.
- Create digital drawings and models from written and verbal specifications.
- Perform, notate, and communicate accurate measurements.
- Maintain organization of technical documents in our digital directory.
- Work with our team to produce assembly instructions and operation manuals.
- Assist in developing processes for new and rebuilt machinery.
- Proficiency in Solid Works 3D modeling software.
- Experience in AutoCAD or similar 2D design software.
- Mechanical experience or skill set.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment.
- Ability to easily acquire and implement new skills on the fly.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and network file organization.
- Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, blueprints, hydraulics, and schematics.

JobType & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
