Mechanical Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys designing products from concept through production? Do you like working directly with customers while collaborating with manufacturing, tooling, and project teams to bring new products to life?

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead new product development projects while supporting existing product lines. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced materials, injection molded components, CAD design, prototype development, and product testing in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

• Design and develop new products from concept through production
• Create and modify 3D CAD models using Solid Works or similar software
• Work directly with customers to understand product requirements
• Select materials that meet mechanical, environmental, and cost objectives
• Coordinate prototype and pilot production builds
• Lead product launches into manufacturing
• Perform product testing, risk assessments, and design validation
• Manage project timelines and deliverables
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, and project management teams
• Prepare technical documentation and project status reports

• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Solid Works or similar CAD experience
• Experience with product design and development
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
